A website their community could actually trust.
The Association of Mexicans in North Carolina has served Mexican and Latino families for more than two decades. We rebuilt their website in English and Spanish.
Visit amexcannc.orgA website that hadn’t been redesigned in fifteen years.
AMEXCAN’s work had grown for two decades, and the website hadn’t grown with it. It was slow and hard to use on a phone. The contact forms didn’t work, so people who wanted to reach out often couldn’t.
It also didn’t look like AMEXCAN. Families, funders and partners were all landing on a site that undersold the organization, and the team couldn’t change a line of text without calling for help.

Organized around the community’s work
We built the site around AMEXCAN’s pillars: education, health, leadership, civic engagement, art and culture, and their binational programs. Each one has its own page, so a parent looking for education support and a funder reading about civic work each land where they need to.
Every page exists in English and Spanish, written for the families who actually use it. The homepage says it plainly: building power for our comunidad.

A contact path that actually works
The old forms had one job and didn’t do it. We rebuilt the contact path around finishing, not decoration: short, clear and placed where someone decides to reach out. Each message routes itself to the right person on the team.
Giving works the same way. Donations happen on the page, one-time or monthly, through Givebutter, and newsletter signups go straight into Mailchimp.

A magazine they publish themselves
AMEXCAN publishes a monthly magazine on everything from Hispanidad to Día de los Muertos. The team adds each issue themselves, so the site keeps pace with the organization instead of falling fifteen years behind again.

“Monarch Digital didn’t just build us a website — they built something our community could trust. They came in as a partner, not just another vendor, and delivered something that works for our gente, our funders, and us.”
